Pretty much, my friend decided to create a team going for the weekly win later in the season. He quickly lost interest and so I took over the team and thought I would try and catch as many fallen premiums as possible and see how the team progresses. To be fair, I generally play rookies on the field to try and not be anywhere near the top weekly, I just wanted to see if I did play all the premiums, if it would win. (No possible combination would have got me anywhere near the weekly top score at any round this year to date)

Scotland, Gibbs, Deledio, Suckling, Enright, Fisher, Goddard (Adcock, tape, tuohy)

Pendlebury, Swan, A.Swallow, Hodge, Bartel, Dal Santo (Rischitelli, Higgins, Prestia)

Cox, Mumford (Smith, Warnock)

Fyfe, O'keefe, Sylvia, Goodes, Chapman, Rioli, Dawes (J. Riewoldt, Mzungu, Howe)

48k in the bank. The next trade will probably be Howe/Prestia to Callinan and Jroo or Dawes to Franklin. Higgins could also play F7 at any stage... And that would leave me with 0 trades, with the aim that I will cover any premium out due to byes with premiums that I have on the bench.

Just wanted to get some thoughts, good idea, bad idea, interesting idea etc...

Thanks :)

Staggering team, Spite, but just 1 trade left. I am a fan of grabbing as many fallen premiums as possible, but I ain't got 'em on the bench like that.

Where is this team ranked now, and what kinds of scores has it been pumping out lately?

When was the last time it was forced to trade because of injury, bye, soreness, resting etc?

I'll go with "interesting" for now, and am keen to see some of that extra info!

CFC 1979

what round did he start

only way to judge the team would be weekly rankings i think

PS; looks like my team - BACKS, MIDS, RUCKS, FOWARDS + BENCH
The similarity stops there though ;D

Thank you pros. 2 trades left haha.

The team is ranked close to 100k (on the worse side of the 100k mark haha). I have been playing rookies on the field to stop myself from being a chance for the weekly, so my overall is quite bad, and the fact that it was registered in round 2 (after round 1) so that 0 in the first week.

Scores lately have been good with 2100 average over the past 3 to 4 weeks, and thats playing mzungu and prestia unneccesarily. Could have had some closer to 2200.

The last injury trade I made was last round, Sandi to Mumford. Besides that, I have not made one single injury trade or trade due to bye and have not had a zero since something like round 5-6. All trades have been upgrading.

Round 2. Weekly has been great the past couple of weeks, all in the top 10k or close to that, and never fielding the best possible team.

I doubt even if I did play a full strength side I would ever win a weekly prize, as my premiums are fallen premiums and not ablett/pendlebury/murphy type players.

Thanks to both of you for the thoughts :)
