M.I.A this week:  Cox, Sandilands (so far)

i'm not too sure about the trades this week. i'm not sure about getting rid of Sandi but have come to the decision that he has to go and probably should have done it weeks ago, so this week i'm thinking:

Sandilands -> Petrie/Goldstein

and just to keep Petrie/Goldstein as my second ruckman.. here's where i'm not sure.. Goldstein is averaging more, but i dunno if his scores will suffer when McIntosh comes back in the side. Petrie averaging a little less, but very consistant and gunning it in the forwards so i don't think his scores will suffer.

the bye first finals round doesn't worry me as i'm 100% sure i'll be playing my mate, who is a Roos supporter and has 4 Roos in his side.

that was the only trade i was thinking of for this week, but it just doesn't feel right

is there anything i should look at doing??   if that trade was the way to go - who to pick? Petrie or Goldstein?

please help!!! as always help is massively appreciated!

cheers

Forward, Midfield and ruck great :) but i would be upgading your backline asap....You have got 4 players what i wouldnt trust in my team every week they are Pops, Stanley, Broughton and even enright when the players come back...I would be looking to target heather shaw next week when he is cheap and maybe even gram as he is cheap and a magnet and used both his byes :) Can you give my team a look its the one above yours called Round 17 to 24 please?

I personally would go for McEvoy. He has been averaging 122 across his last 3 and 108 over the last 5. He's extremely unique, good scorer, no more byes and should see the year out as the number 1 ruckman at the saints. The only real worry is whether Gardiner is going to come back in. But you have the same problem with Goldy.

Your backline is weak. You need to get at least one more if not two premiums. Fisher is the first one who comes to mind. No explanation required. As a more unique option of someone you should look into in round 17, Duffield. Averaging 90 from his last 3 and 93 over the last 5. If you get him in round 17 he will also have no byes remaining.

Hope this helps.

thanks for the replies guys.

my plan was to get Fisher and Suckling in as my final 2 back upgrades. i left that line till last because it seems to be the most inconsistant line. i don't like Heath Shaw and think he is a little inconsistant anyway.

i'd thought of bringing in McEvoy, but with plans of bringing Fisher in, that would leave me with 5 Saints. is that too many for a struggling team in St Kilda? (i'm a saints supporter)

cheers fellas

Saints are starting to show something so don't be too concerned. Fisher and Suckling are good upgrades.

Just trade McEvoy in for Sandilands and forget it.

After those your done.
