Franklin was the biggest thing in the WAFL @ that time.

and yes, I was thrilled.

But Richmond have a knack for handing over a player then they turn into this outstanding player.

geez u have a lot of faith... Every club has made recruting errors. Tambling was highly regarded then and if I remember correctly Franklin was hardly a hit in the WAFL... He only played 1 or 2 games in the seniors I'm pretty sure... he was highly rated though not denying that. Hindsight is everything looking back now Gumby was a mistake for essendon but again at the time he was touted as one of the best in the draft.

I do have faith, just pointing out they have made a lot of errors.

Also, Frankline WAS the biggest thing in the WAFL. Even though he only played 1 game, he had the most potential of anyone. I remember this. I'm sure a simple google search of some forums can come up with the same.
