Will Isaac Smith get a run now? He had soreness and then was never brought back in...

The Age is tipping Clinton Young to take his place having been named as an emergency the last few weeks.

That would be great if he did

6 weeks would be enough to milk some coin from him

Bit of a tough one really..Changa often performs a shutdown role...something I wouldnt expect Smith or Young to be accustomed to. Sewell used to tag a lot...maybe he will go back to that role...might be getting a little too slow now though....apparently Pops used to tag a lot in the SANFL..and pretty well so his role may change...Pops does have some toe....
I reckon there is more upside to Smiths game than Youngs...and more X factor...less opposition knowledge...it wouldnt be strange for him to be saved for the run into finals - or from round 16'ish....Clarko does pull some leftside decisions

Young has been in the best for Box Hill two weeks running now. Most likely to come in.

Ellis and Ladson are also waiting the wings. Bit of depth to get through for Smith to have a consistent spot for at least a few weeks.

Or maybe Cheyney to get his chance to come in, Puopolo to take Batemans tag role.

Rusty00

Am I correct in saying that Smith hasn't played for Box Hill the last 2 weeks?

doubt hell come in if he hasnt been playin for box hill. maybe a senior player would go straight into team. not a rookie

Isaac Smith did a hammy post StKilda match standard three weeks out, will nee a few runs back in the magoos to get into a rampant hawks team

I agree Young is the obvious replacement
