I know they're important, but you may as well keep your downgrades as cover instead of players that have earned you heaps of cash.
And I don't see why you'd keep Heppell and Stanley when only one of them would be starting for your team. Sure, they're probably scoring enough to both start (more so Heppell and probably not Stanley considering his last two games were his only stand outs), but for anyone that already has 6 other back keepers before these two, you can't afford to have that much cash sitting on the bench.

You only need so much cash, if your going to rely on the downgrade players that are left for cover your going to end up in trouble. With byes and general soreness quality benchies are sooo important

Considering all the shower that's gone wrong with my DT, I'm out of cash and still have upgrades to do. I need the cash.

If that's the case i have have no problem with that, i would do the same

My backline is complete so Stanley would've only been considered for a start when there was a bye, along with Lower (Lower would win that battle most weeks). So I sold Stanley this week for Jacobs, deciding that the extra 70k his price is than Toy's made it worth the sale - particularly when it seemed unlikely Stanley would go up more than 15-20k. A bit disappointed now... but not the worst thing to have happen.

Ah who cares ay everyone makes mistakes i got rid of Duigan and Lower early. Just wanted to hear some opinions. At the end of the day its just a game and theres always next year  ;)

me

keeping him and playing him, is a gun tackler and should average 85ish for the rest of the season which is good for a back, and i'll upgrade elsewhere (in mids and fwds)

Who to play out of Stanley/Lower/Puopolo is going to be tough for me next week :(

Looks like I won't need to make a backline upgrade as one of those 3 should suffice.

my only rookies left who are decently priced are harris, stanley and smith. Smith is safe and harris certaintly isnt and with gys like hibberd, pup and jacobs sitting in my backline i dont see the value in having stanley as my 8th. If e can keep it up i will keep him on my field with these guys as backup  but if he drops off he will leave my team as soon as he has made enough cash.

If he makes it too around 270k after collingwoods second bye than the stanley dowgrade and harris to pendles trade will be too tempting. Pity Stanley wasnt a forward or a mid i could use some cover in those areas.
