The only way my trading plans could work out was by I. Smith being named.  Now he's not I'm really not sure what to do.  I can't afford to downgrade to Lynch, so if I want to bring in Scott Thompson, which was my plan all along, the only option I have is to bring in Smith anyway.

Dont risk it. Smith could get injured if you can just hold off a week

do it Thompson will shoot up this week I snapped him up without hesitation upon finding smith not being selected. I'm actually thankful smith is out, opened my eyes to what other avenues I could take!

If you were planning on starting Smith and now you need a Matera or co. to play, then no. If he was going to stay on the bench, go for it. Clarkson is just making sure, Smith is a very talented player.

I'm in the same position, was hoping that Smith would be named so i could upgrade Grigg to Ablett Jnr. Even though he's not, with Prestia named finally this week  i'm getting Smith anyway as i'm sure he'll play soon enough and prestia can cover for me. That way I can get Mzungu in mids next week for Harris to enable MPP.  :)
