Well, we're half way, how is you're team going?
As a Geelong supporter, I couldn't be more pleased. I still think Collingwood are the team to beat though, they just seem to keep getting better. Looks like they've found another gun in Fasolo. It never seems to end does it?
The Cats have found some good players to though. I think we will find out a few things in the second half. If the Cats can finish on top of the ladder, what a fantastic effort. I think most of us were ready to watch them slide down the ladder. An amazing team.

Didn't think Geelong would fall too far behind without Ablett as you guys have a solid team together. The second stringers have picked up their game to recover the loss and move forward. I love Dunks, T. Hunt and Menzel :P.

I'm hoping Essendon can hold onto a place in the 8 but fatigue is starting to wear on the players now and it can be seen :(.

I'm sorry Helly, but Essendon have been a disappointment to me. I overrated their list, and probably got caught up in the hype, and over estimated the effect the new coaching staff would have. Still, it's only half way, and they will improve. I agree now with what a lot of your fellow supporters say, and that is a final, and, possibly a win would be a good result.

As a brisbane supporter i am not the most happy with my team but some of the younger players are starting to shine like redden rockliff, and rich is starting to become a star so the midfield is good but i fell it is the depth of the forward line without browny. we have clark aswell but he can be a bit inconsistent i also think that bryce retzlaff will be good when he  gets a few more years under his belt but hopefully the team can notch up 2 or 3 more wins.

I deffinately see a future for Brisbane. I reckon Fev set them back 2 years. He was a terrible mistake. They lost a couple of good players in the deal to get him, and he wasn't worth it.

Indeed many did so with Hird and Bomber coming. It's basically the same list Knights had so still pretty young to have too much expectation on them! I wasn't expecting a top 8 finish as there is still alot of inexperience in the team and quite a few Key injuries hurting a bit everywhere.

That Fev trade was horrific for the Lions. Voss put his eggs in one basket and lost Henderson and Bradshaw + Riska on the side for offering them up as tradebait. Gotta agree they've got a future but may be a while.

I half agree but I also wish we had culled the list at the end of last season because we r going to be in the same position again at the end of this season where we should get rid of quite a few... I just don't quite understand how they could think the coaches were going to change everything?!... we have a fair bit of dead weight on our list (Not the youngsters).

Having said that If u had asked me at the start of the year would I be happy if we were int he position we r in now I would have said yes  :D

A few teams that looked like they were going to kick on at the end of last season have struggled. The pressure will be on in a year or 2 when GC are ready and GWS might cause headaches depending on who they recruit.
It's going to come down to money. The rich clubs are going to open a gap that may never close. Like in England.
