I think the point is that you'll be trading him back in that make people concerned. That's 2 trades, not including the fact you'll probably have to double trade him in after you've already used up the money. 3 trades.... the reason why people aren't considering trading are there are no options to trade to. If a premo in any other position was out for 5 weeks, you would sideways trade to a plethora of options. But, there's only really two options for sandilands, and that's goldstein or petrie.

downgrading with the intent to upgrade again to the same player is frankly idiotic and a waste of time and trades. Either sidewards to goldstein, or just sit with smith for a couple of weeks.

i see ur point however disagree. its a flat out waste to have 400k on the bench.

option 1 trade: so i trade sandi to Bailey, use the cash to upgrade elsewhere, trade back in after rd 16 bye if he is right.
have smith and cox ruck.

option 2: keep: smith cox on field with no cover. downgrade smith after freo's bye rd 16.

I can't understand why ppl won't trade him out... He will miss 5 out of six weeks with cox, sandi and Petrie coverage that 300k u can make will go a very long way...personally for me my rule is 3 weeks or more then trade out and I'll stick to this just look at people who kept Higgins...

With 13 trades left I wouldnt be so quick to pull that trigger.

However I have 20 trades and will be looking to move on the big fella and bring him back in 6weeks or so

The idea is sound IMO to trade him out and back, but there is risk involved.

but i have mcCauley. He looked the goods when i saw him play last! good work rate & Jonathan brown talked him up on the footy show few weeks ago. Why not give him a game! mitch clarks a dud!

the kid just needs a few more games, seamed like a good tank for a ruckman. Maybe the eagles ploy of wearing down ruckman (nic nat & Cox v sandi) would work alot better??
