Shall i be looking at steady improvement w my backs ie; upgrading marquee backs, or load up more marquee types by r1.

Meh..

This backline has been done to death. Maybe Houli is the only unique (ish) one there.

Petterd is no suprise either, if any of the ones you have listed are out and Petterd was in for Rnd 1 it would be an obvious straight swap.

Do people read other posted teams and opinions before asking the same question?

You could consider Hodge, Fisher, Mattner, Gilbee, Bowden, P Burgoyne, Drummond or even Chornes as a novelty if you wanted.
