Swan, Boyd, Foley, Montagna, Liberatore, Hibberd   (D Swallow, Harris, Irons)

Cox, Sandilands   (Z Smith, Derickx)

Franklin, Pavlich, Goodes, Darling, N Riewoldt, Tapscott, Knights   (Krakouer, Richardson, Prestia)

$326,400 and 19 trades remaining

alright so i was gonna post this in Players & Trades but i've seen people do it there and get told to put it in Rate My Supercoach

just after a league win ---

which trades should i make this week?
double downgrades of Toy -> Puopolo and Irons/Harris/Swallow -> I. Smith? (was thinking Irons because he hasn't been named for ages and is just sitting there doing nothing), both Puopolo and Smith are on the bubble and look like making alot of cash.

or

Foley/Libba -> Bartel/Selwood/Mundy (gonna get Pendles after his second bye) and not sure.. any thoughts of another trade?

assuming of course that all players mentioned are named in their teams.

i'm not really 100% sure on what to do and would love any thoughts on these trades.

cheers

If Mzungu is named for Freo this week I'd go;

Swallow > Mundy
Foley > Selwood

Hello gun midfield

You then have downgrade options in Lynch next week and poss Mzungu the next

Bill Manspeaker

thanks for the reply mate.

i like your thinking, still leave me with like 13k aswell i think.

i'm not really a big fan in bringing in Mzungu next week as i'd rather wait till he's played 2 already.. and i feel like i'd missed the boat on Pups and Smith. i could probably still bring them in in a couple of weeks but would have missed out on their first rise(s).
does that really matter? would i still be in a good position if i missed their first price rise?

cheers again mate

I think you should try to keep one of Harris or Swallow as cover.  Don't think you should be trading foley, he is just getting better and better as the season goes on.  Maybe before Richmond's first bye if you are desperate for an upgrade.

If going specifically for a league win, you might want to focus on players from

BL, SYD, MEL, FREO, because they only have byes during non-league rounds.

Try to avoid some players from finals, GEE, NM, CARL, ESSENDON.

I think you really need to go

THIS WEEK

Otten > Puopolo, because your backline rookies look a bit suspect, with Hibberd, Toy, Jacobs
Knights > O'Keefe (SYD), Knights definitely has to go this week because he was very lucky to get those big scores and you should just cash in now before things go down hill.  O'keefe is severely underpriced and will play every round!

NEXT WEEK

Swallow > Pendlebury > Mundy would be more desirable but will be a bit overpriced now, but see what happens.

Bill Manspeaker

i'm pretty happy with Otten > Puopolo

will leave me around the 450k mark i think

and Knights > O'Keefe seems a good trade. at first i thought Knights still had money to make but is up against the pies this week and don't want the shower score.

if i go by your way i am missing out on the initial rise of I. Smith, is that a big thing?

also next week am thinking of the downgrade of Tapscott -> T. Lynch then upgrade of Swallow to a premo

charliesheen

I don't see I.smith as a high priority.  will be better options like Mzungu.

Your trade plan for the subsequent week is solid.

Bill Manspeaker

alright i think i'm settled on what i'm doing. Otten > Pups, Knights > O'Keefe. week after Tappy > Lynch,  Swallow > Premo

should still have nice cash balance too.

cheers for the help mate :)
