The way I check out my weakness in my team is to look at the percentage breakdown. Obviously rucks are going to be the lowest but you should have at least 9-11% . Midfield is always going to suck up %. And this should out weigh your FWDS and DEF. Fwd's should be the second highest % and then DEF. Example - If you have say 23% in DEF and 31% in FWD then it is obvious(well to me at least) that you need to work on your DEF.

So to break it down
MIDS = 1st - 33- 35%
FWDS = 2nd  27-29%
DEF  = 3rd - 25-27%
Folls  = lowest  9-11%

Note. This may vary depending on where you have your Capt positioned.

Edit: Even if you are already achieving these %'s but still scoring low week in and week out then in my opinion it's time to upgrade.

Thoughts?

yorgis

can't work on your defence if there are not enough high scoring defenders around. good point tho'

Thx....Carrots(dpp), Lids(dpp), Gibby(dpp), Addy, Scotts(dpp), Heater.. just to name a few. Rawlings looks good too, he's on the up

LF

also would depend who is sitting on your bench as well.

Teams depend on a lot of factors, if we included them all then we would go nuts!

According to that I need to work on my back line, but I already new that  :(

%'s look about right to me, without going into details.

Everyone has to be wary with this idea in 2011. I agree it works but this year, and for example last week, if you had Scotland on your bench and played Lower the %'s will definitely be skewed

thanme

Does it matter though?? Why does it need to be balanced?? If there are more higher scoring forwards than backs, get them in.

So true I looked at my % last weekend and they were off, but the week before that they were right. Because I had Scotland on the pine. I don't really take much notice of the %'s.

Not saying I am right, just being out there(doing an AFEV) on how I choose my team.  :)

That's the hard part and most challenging, to have players on or off the pine and still rack up the % ie ppr week in and week out.  :)
