Grimes -> Puopolo
Curnow -> Selwood.

I opted for Selwood over Pendles at the last minute, and won my league match as a result. I only wish I had Puopolo on field! 10/10 from me.

I would call that 10/10 imo... defs the best option for this round (unless you got like hodge/ gablett in), and in the long run, barring finals/ injury, seems definitely a good trade.

My problem is that although my last 3 games have been smooth sailing, my opponent this week scored 2159 on the weekend... got a bit lucky, but still he has a strong team, and has been averaging 2k per week, while mine is around 1850 (I'm a slow starter :P). Over the next few weeks I'm playing a lot of strong teams too... so I'll probably be making two trades next week as well...

Is there any reason why I shouldn't trade both Curnow and Swallow to Swan and Boyd? I'm definitely doing Curnow > Swan, but if Hibberd plays, perhaps I could hold Swallow and trade Lower or Smith to Suckling? Next week I will probably look to downgrade Tapscott or Matera to Lynch, and then perhaps upgrade either or those to someone like Pav...

Which Swallow are you referring too?  ;) I'd trade out A. Swallow before D. Swallow. And seeing as u don't have Swan or Boyd you'd wanna sell A. Swallow pretty soon! Also Otten is worth downgrading to Puopolo or Jacobs, if you don't wanna hop on Suckling this week.

D. Swallow. I know Mr. A has had a few poor games but I'm not sure whether I'm ready to jump off him yet... besides I'm in the position where if I don't trade D. Swallow, I'm relying on Hibberd or Heppell to come in a fill up a spot in the midfield...

Here's my conundrum at the moment though. I've got 5 premium backs plus Heppell, but getting in Suckling for Lower or Toy seems like a good move this week... obviously I want Swan/Boyd, but perhaps I can get Swan next week? What are Swan and Boyd's real B/E's? Was thinking it was a simple case of getting in Swan for Curnow, and Boyd for D. Swallow, but if I get Suckling I can probably go A. Swallow to Swan next week (or Boyd). I'd probably feel like I have a better chance of winning with Swan/Boyd though, and having Swan as a captain choice is obviously pretty important, plus I'm still not 100% sold on Suckling... arghhhh :)
