This week i was looking at 1 or 2 downgrades and i was was considering all these players:

OUT
Goddard
Stanley
Harris
Curnow
D.Swallow

IN
Puopolo
Jacobs
M.Wright
Phillips
I.Smith

Eventually i narrowed that down to two realistic chances:

Harris > I.Smith
Curnow > I.Smith

I have my team posted at http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,33537.0.html if you want to view that first. 15 trades left. I know that i speak for most people here. Please leave feedback.

I'd go Curnow -> I Smith, purely because Curnow has a BE of 93 and Harris can still rise a fair bit. Harris will probably be permanently on the bench for me.

Curnow has the bye in finals also...so really just delaying the inevitable if you dont trade him out

LaHug

Curnow will take 3 weeks after his return (which we don't even know when that'll be) to rise in price again. Not worth keeping as bench cover with a bye in finals. Plus, Harris will continue rising the moment he returns. No brainer, Curnow to go.

Problems

Curnow is injured and has peaked so get him out for Smith who is on the bubble. All your other possible outs have more cash to make if u can cover their bye. I'm gona say hold onto God for now as he's dropped so much and there's not many other options now unless u wanna play another rookie like Puopolo on the field. Watch Jacobs this week on his 2nd game then make a call on him

All depending on who is named of course. IMO, with the return of rioli, smith's JS will become very shaky. I would be looking at jacobs over smith, at least until this week's teams are named.

Rioli?.....I think you mean Young. Rioli & Smith have pretty different roles in the side

Ziplock

Do they, sorry, got to say I haven't really seen him play that much. I just presumed Rioli since smith came in around the same time Rioli went out :P

How long is young out for?

bowyanger

Until he finds some form in the magoos (Young). Rioli will more than likely replace Osborne. I cant see Smith being dropped unless injured for at least a few weeks. Hawks need leg speed, Smith brings that, and look much better with him streaming up and down on a wing

Ziplock

mmm... could be a good prospect then... however, none of my midfield cows are anywhere near ready, and I already have franklin + rioli... even with dpp, that could be a bit much for round 17...

I'd be getting curnow out over harris for sure. Curnow even when he comes back won't make u any money for at least 3 weeks. + Harris still has money to be made with a b/e of roughly 20

I have just found another dilemma. Cause my ranking last week was 40k odd, i have a tough league opponent and will only get Gibbs and maybe higgins back from last week. With Mundy being the 5th highest scorer, is it worth bringing him in for Pittard keeping in mind i have 15 trades left currently.  After round 1, Mundy has yet to score below 100. I've created another poll so vote on that.

Looks like Curnow to Smith then.
