Currently sitting at 345k with past scores of: 61, 94, 87, 104, 57, 110, 111   b/e of around 30 ave 89. Anybody else think this guy is a very solid alternative to Shaw, Adcock esp considering his fair price??

I'm seriously thinking about upgrading Otten to him this week. Can't take him just clogging up my bench making no $$$...

Thoughts on Fish??

Andrew

I'd get Suckling infront of Fisher a) because he's not a St. Kilda player and b) Saints have tough opponents coming up. But Fish ain't a bad option at all, I'd prefer to have him than Enright at the moment...

fortynine

Saints having hard opponents coming up and playing poorly could also play to your advantage considering how many forward 50 entries they conceeded to the hawkers..

That may actually help him out in the DT sense because he'll be involved in more contests and so forth, but personally I would be looking at Adcock with the form he's in if you haven't got him.

BillMurray

Hey guys, cheers for the feedback so far  :)

Better post my backs to clear things up: Gibbs, Godd, Lids, Suckling, Heppel, Stanley, Puopolo

I only have two saints atm so not worried about getting one more. Exactly my thinking fortynine; since they are struggling you'd expect Fisher to be involved in the play a fair bit considering the ball is in his area most of the time nowadays. I Also like his uniqueness and his high ceiling when he gets those cheap kicks going..Just feel he is very good value for a player that will average reasonably close to Shaw, Adcock by end of the year imo.

any other thoughts on him?? cheers  ;)

ps- Sooo happy i traded in Suckling for Broughton 3 weeks ago  8)

I see a trend in those scores of a blip every 3 or so weeks. This will continue. Add that to the fact that every game the Saints have an absolute stinker, the entire team scores poorly, and he's not worth it.
Still, at that price, if he can average 85+ for the rest, it might be worth it.

Are you going for overall or league? If overall, could be a good pick up. If league, those blips will hurt too much!

BillMurray

Going for league (currently 2nd in main cash one), have 18 trades left and just trying to maintain my position. Thinking Fisher could be a nice pickup down back. Feel like I've missed the Adcock train and just plain hate Heat Shaw haha. Might have to wait a few weeks for Enright (tho he doesn't seem that sturdy for league games either)...

Saints second highest score last week was ~83 iirc...

Fisher still pumped out 111. When the Saints score pathetic, Fisher stands out :)

He's a gun and I've enjoyed him from rd1. He's turning it around from here on out imo.

Nice work Nails  ;)

Question: do you think it's too early to downgrade Harris? Really need cash and thinking of pulling the trigger on him this week. Have Jacobs and Hibberd on mid bench with link to Heppell in backs for cover. If i don't get Fisher this week he's likely to go out of reach.   :-\  Maybe I'll just hold off...hmmmm

Nails

Might as well keep him now probably. He's going to earn more cash in two rounds time..

Think about how many $ do you think Harris will make?

$40k over 5 rounds according to Assistant Coach.

Would you prefer $30k over 3 rounds/40k over 5 or the extra 20-30 points per game you could get downgrading him and upgrading elsewhere.

Last week was the week to trade him out, rd 8, 9 and then 10 until he makes his money. I wasn't going to wait 3 rounds for another $20k so got in Mundy :)

but in your position, I'd just hold him now.

BillMurray

Yeah true. Think I'll just hold onto him till he peaks. Cheers for the info  ;)

Mundy has been great this year, I got in Pendles for Curnow last week...Hoping he bounces back hard against the crows.

elephants

Taking Suckers over him but price had a lot to do with it!
