Can somone explain in a nutshell what exactly is the press that is being talked about so much?

The forward press is when teams hustle in the forward line on teams kicking out of their defensive 50/half.
Less skilled teams find it hard to move the footy down the field when under full pressure and turnovers occur.

Is that what you're looking for? When I read it first I thought you were asking about something 'in the press' aka media! haha
