Robert Murphy - $321,200

                     - Injury prone = Only played 20+ games 3 out of 10 seasons
                     - Last 3 season avg. 77.7, 79.8 (injury plagued), 89.2
                     - potential for 100+ scores
                     - can be a bit of a rollercoaster

Matt Suckling   - $296,300
                     - Avg. 89.2
                     - Has played only 6 games previous to this year
                     - missed round 7 due to ??? (can someone help me out here?)
                     - Cameron Bruce injury can only help hs job security
                     - unproven dream teamer but looks on the rise

Who would you pick???

Please no other suggestions like Enright, Shaw etc. I would rather spend my money elsewhere this season

haha come on man  8)
I don't want Enright as I am limiting my Geelong players due to the finals bye. I already have Bartel and Johnson with 2 as my limit. We can't all win the first round final and I'm not putting too many eggs in the Geelong basket just in case....

Suckling had a knee problem and that's why he missed last weekend but he's a chance to return this week. If he gets named I may well go him for Grimes because more expensive picks seem too risky. However, if you don't have Enright you should wait a week on him, because if he doesn't pull a 100 he'll drop even further than $344k. And that's too cheap.

suckling looked real good v cats... the players gave him the ball to run and carry as well which can only be a good sign.

interesting to note there has been nothing about his knee though.. does anyone know the actual problem?

bundyboy

I've been a suckling fan all year....and nothing changing that opinion....

Montag

i get murphy
the bulldogs are doing well this year in dt even with a tough draw so far.
he is proven with a consisitent average of around 80 and has been scoring consisitently this year
sucklings knee woriies me and he is a young defender who has had some roller coaster scores. dont let his average fool you because it includes a 140 something then a 40???

Andrew

He's named... talk about throwing a spanner in the works. I don't know whether to go Suckling or Rawlings... Toughest week of dream team ever.

I guess it comes down to the flip of a coin then haha...
