Hey guys i just want to know if it is worth trading out buckley? He is in my mids and he is the link to my def. Should i trade him to hibberd/jacobs in order to keep that link?

+1. Yeah, I'll be waiting til he rises enough to trade him out. The MPP link is going to be invaluable this year cos of the byes and etc.

I am in the exact same position as you Jayman. He is my only link with Heppell, Deledio, Gibbs and Goddard. I am trading him out for Hibberd this week with no ifs, buts or maybes once I see him named in Essendon's line up which is basically a given.

Im contemplating the same thing but i think i will bring hibberd in for duigan this week and when jacobs is on the bubble i will bring him in for buckley??? Giving buckley more time to earn $$$

I see the merit in that but I missed Thompson last week and can see him putting me behind the 8ball if I don't nab him for Duigan this week.

I'll also add that with Lower, Toy, Otten, Heppell, Curnow, Atley, Conca, Harris, Swallow, Z Smith, McCauley, Matera, Darling and Tapscott earning decent coin I'm not worried about trading Buckley out early...he was my only real rookie mistake...in hindsight I should've gone Libba but I wanted the MPP link.
Hibberd has big wraps on him, looked good pre season and appears to have better job security so weighing it all up I can live with the trade and not getting full value for Buckley but at least he played 3 games and earned something before the bye this week.

do not trade in a player who hasn't played a game, or has only played 1. trade in on the bubble only. leave hibberd for 1 more week. and if jacobs gets picked this week, leave him for another 2.

if he gets another game good.
if not trade when the others are ready to burst
