Why Petrie in your team makes perfect sense

I have had Petrie in my team from the start, but this decison is alot better now!

He has averaged 80 PPG for 200k invetment, MPP ability with rucks and, im asssuming 80% of owners who have him have MPP with J Tippett....

But what makes him a betler of a pick is the fact that Z Smith is a big cash cow on the bench...

Petrie owners can offload Smith knowing that they have Petrie as perfect cover, but with bugger all ruck rookies to downgrade Smith to make this juicer by the week for Petrie owners

Couple this with the starts of Darling and Tapscott makes me happy, and the trigger for premium upgrades will be pulled a lot earlier than past seasons....

Petrie just in my forwards. No MPP. MPP is useless when you have Smith and McCauley :)

had him from start too in fwds, no MPP. sure his 80 average is good, but with 60/60/140/60 there's no way he's staying in my team for finals unless his consistancy significantly improves.

I've been on him since the start. But didnt have tippet for the rucks link. I could downgrade smith to tippet or just keep smith as cover, and save a trade, as I have all the other top rookies to milk.

With the 145,900 I have in the bank. Last night I had the crazy idea of, upgrading sidebottom to mundy, Higgins to jroo, then Petrie to nroo next week. Then duigan to Hibberd, for another upgrade the week after. But I do want to keep faith in higgins

Forward line would then look: franklin, stevey j, goodes, didak, jroo, nroo, darling.

I've had Petrie on my rucks bench and I'm stoked on my tactic! With two scores while being on the field of 149 and 68 it's a very handy return. I'm keeping him and getting rid of Matera/Tapscott soon for J.Tippett for the MPP and swap Petrie to the forwards, later in the year he'll be my 8th forward/3rd ruck :)
