Need to upgrade some fowards but who

If you can do it, I'd go Jack Riewoldt - a gun, who's had a slow start to the year. He WILL up his poor initial average (I suspect to somewhere in the mid to high 90's by seasons end), and will only be worth apx. $356,000 after this round.

If that's too pricy for you - & unless you have a lot of cash set aside, trading Cam Richo probably won't get you there - then I'd be seriously looking at Drew Petrie. He averaged over 90 over 4 seasons (2006-2009) & only missed 1 game in that time. Had a bad year last year with injury & has had a slow start this year - most likely due to getting back into the pace of the game & having a disjointed start to the year (suspended rd.1, played rd.2, bye rd.3, played rd.4), but then smashed it out this round (rd.5). He's very cheap at apx. only $250,000, meaning you could get him by ditching Krak & Cam Richo (who are both underperforming, Krak's been dropped - therefore questionable JS - & have been used as subs which is a bad sign too), so you don't lose too much & won't have to dip into your cash reserves too much either!

Just some thoughts/options - probably obvious - but hope they help. Cheers mate!

P.S. The really obvious (but much more expensive) guns you should be looking at closely as they are flying, are Cyril Rioli & the Pav. Going from your current fwd line to an eventual one of: Franklin, Pav, Rioli, Johnson, Goodes, Dawes, Petrie (Matera, Mzungu, Callinan) could be very successful!!

the problem here is legitimate downgrade targets. If you have cash in the bank then I guess Richardson or Dixon could be in line but if not you really have to hold and hope a decent cheapy  bobs up. I'm in similar boat but at least you haven't got Krakouer :o

I think people will have to use cash from backline and midfield downgrades in order to upgrade their forwards with no good downgrade targets.

I'm actually starting to feel better about my rookie decision of doing DT over the phone and ending up with a packed forward line. Calling my brother and getting in Harvey without realising who else I had, may just save me a few trades :)
