Any thoughts on Burgoyne being an elite player for dt or supercoach? I have had him in my team since day one but I'm just starting to question my decision now as there is alot of good priced midfielders around that price that may be able to exceed 100+ in the future easier than he can.. Burgoyne has been good to me thus far but I'm just thinking ahead a little?

well if ur thinking about trading him, just don't... he might not be an elite, but he is a player you prob wouldnt want to trade out either, so your gonna have to suck it up i suppose  ;)

I was tempted by Burgoyne but chose to keep the spot open for Hodge when he bottoms out. If you look at his time at Port he was definitely elite and i dont think he's past it yet. I would probably build your lower end before looking at trading premiums.

I've got burgoyne and very happy with same.    Also look at Hawthorns run home during the finals/last four rounds.    He is a keeper, look at upgrading a couple of your cheaper mid-fielders to Hodge or Mitchell, but in my opinion you would be crazy to trade Burgoyne, as he is averaging 100 and playing in the mid & forward line.   why waste a trade for the same points?
Also he is one of those unique players which will be a game breaker, when all teams start to look similar towards the end of the year.

he is prob more suited to SC than DT but you cant be disappointed with the way he has started the season.

kicks goals to which is always valuable for midfielders
