Stevie J, Franklin, Riewoldt, Higgins, Knights, Tapscott, Darling (Krak, Richardson, Matera)


Heres the deal, I want Broughton and Savage gone but im out all day tomorrow and wont be able to see the teams. I wont even know if Savage is dropped until Friday. I dont want him anyway, he has a BE of 12 v Cats and then a bye. Wont make much money. Broughton is doing poorly and cant see him lifting any time soon.

I want Hibberd in for Broughton then Savage-Rockliff. Do I take a punt on Hibberd being named now and trade????? Or is that too risky. How sure are people that Hibberd will play?

risky betting on hibbard getting 1) named, and 2) actually playing..

there are a bunch of other essendon players knocking on the door a bit louder than him at the moment IMO

what is the rush....??  broughton not going to drop a lot more even if he plays like previous weeks, and hibbo no guarantee to score any more anyway and price not changing for weeks..

so are you trading broughton so you don't cop any more price decrease ? or because you want points?.  I think a riskly trade like this to avoid -$20k  is not a great value bet. 

Savage to rockliff great - but guess you need the other trade to give you the cash...- but again, not seeing the necessity to do it this week with the coverage you have.

Hm...true. If I wait one more week:
Positives:
1/There is a chance (small but a chance) Broughton could smash out a ton, this would be great
2/ Hibberd will be the same price and I will get a better look at him, make sure he is named
3/ Savage could play and score well and smash his BE of 12
4/ Hibberd could not play, get injured, play horribly and be dropped in coming weeks

Negatives:
1/ Broughton Could drop 30k if he pulls another 50 and then he has a bye the following week
2/ Rockliff will have gone up 30k (if he scores a ton, very likely)
3/ Savage may be dropped, and then he has a bye
4/ A Boughton-Rockliff and Savage-Rockliff trade will be out of reach if the above happens

look at all the broughton topics for a rough idea of what to do. Basically, you can drop broughton to toy or brodie smith, downgrade slightly to adock or upgrade to gram, only really viable options.

I would drop broughts to toy rather than hibberd, then upgrade savage if you  reckon rockliff will finish ranked high enough to be worthy of your mids.

Think I might hold Broughton actually. He is 310k. Even if he keeps scoring 60-80 he will only drop to 260kish.
