I had this bloke last year and he didnt let me down, he was great. This year he's seemed to develop a fair bit of inconsistancy due to Ross Lyon using him foward, wing etc. Do you think now that the saints are in a fair bit of adversity regarding their form, he will get back to his position in the back line. floating around picking up cheap marks and kicks. According to DT Talk he may drop to 300K.. If he gets a few respectable scores in a row, he could be an amazing pick up. What are your thoughts on the subject?

if he gets down to 300k and scores a 90+ the next game he's in for moi.

he will definately get back to his top form at some stage of the season, I am also on the waiting list to pick him up!!

I don't know why Ross Lyon is playing him forward, I think that's one of the problems with St.Kildas structure.
He should go back to defense or at least Lyon should use him the same way Worsfold used to use Hunter n swing him forward for 5min bursts

i have to agree that sam gilberts run off half back when st kilda were at their finest was un-valuable, ross lyon should mos def change this back

Just proceed with caution here! Hargrave plummeted into the dt wilderness last year and coaches were picking him up half way through the season because he was cheap. They're always cheap for a reason! And I understand te abilty between Gilbert and Hargrave in terms of dt is quite big, but something to be were of nevertheless!

gilbert was  to play up forward [ because of his marking ability ] to take pressure off roo, while kosi was out. kosi comes back and scores a whopping 15 points.  what an excuse for a footballer. this guy and roo were supposed to be the next lloyd and lucas. anyway, if they love him so much at saintsland, then gilbert may go back to defense and start picking up cheap marks and handballs

Andrew

He's going to need to string together a couple of 90+ scores for me to be keen. I've got McKernan in defence so could use his DPP.
