Don't drop him of course, cool if you already got him. But don't trade him in, I reckon.

i have libba but i am not put off in any way sahpe or form. as previously mentioned, he has been chopping up and you dont drop players like that. he has no excuse for being 'tired' as he has a bye next round. 10 rounds from libba and i will be very pleased.

I disagree completely. When big cash cows come up, you have to get on them. Especially when you've got someone like Hibberd on the bench, making zero money, with no guarrentee he will even play a game. At least we know libba will put on 70k this week, if he doesnt play another game, he has still made you 70k, which is more than hibberds nothing.

Definitely worth dropping a non playing rook for a high flying cow, no doubt. Gotta take some risks in this game or you'll get left behind.

I'm with Thornz, get on now or you'll be left behind.

It also depends what else you're doing. I'm getting Libba in for a choice mistake in JPK. Not only will he make me money, but he'll probably score more too ;P

What people forget is that coaches will reward good play from players no matter who they are. Libba was awesome last week, from memory he had 11 contested disposals and again if you watched the game he used the ball very well. Curnow 2 weeks ago had 11 touches (quite a few contested if my memory serves me correctly, although I stand to be corrected) in the last quarter when the game was on the line and did the hard things that coaches love. I think these guys will both stay in their respective teams to fatten up nicely.

Look at a couple of examples from last year.

1) Fyfe was nowhere near Freo’s best 22 but he got a run due to some injuries, I thought he would be dropped as soon as the other guys came back but he did the right things and became an integral part of the Heave Ho (and a lot of Dream Teams)

2) Blair â€" again nobody thought he would hold his spot with all the Pies coming back from injury. He did the hard things, kept his spot and against all odds won a flag (and provided great cover for DT)
