i would say he is flying at the moment for the amount of time he is playing, if he wasn't a sub would be close to a 100 average. Fi you trade him out and he stops being a sub you might regret it.

QuoteHarvey said midfielder Rhys Palmer would be in the starting 21 this week after he was subbed out of the round one win over Brisbane and then played as the starting substitute against Geelong last week.

Palmer had to complete a training session after the game on Patersons Stadium to make up for his lack of ground time.

I'd decided against trading him, but that solidifies it for me.

still on the bench tho ???

That doesnt mean a lot... plenty of gun players are named on the bench and come straight on. Good way to break a tag etc.

think there is a bit of gamesmanship going on... A Otten named as Centre and DeBoer as Centre ???

Palmer is on song for the gametime he has been playing I expect a big score this week.

Good ol' Palmer from 2008 NAB Rising Star award. He's played against the likes of Brissy then Geelong as sub, pulling a nice score avg considering his TOG. I think you should keep him for now. Starts on IC but it is highly unlikely he will sub again. He has shown Harvey and Ass coach Bazza Mitchel that he is worthy of a more TOG. Given a full game he will do you proud, especially after his eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek knee injury back in early 2009. He has shown he is keen to get back in full swing.

Keeper!
