It could be smart. Depending on how much a trade is worth. A trade should be worth about 100k to make it worth it's while yea? Well if you make 200k by trading him out and back in then there is your trades worth while

Actually bad idea. If Selwood scores 110 and 115 which he is very capable of then his average will be about 83 and he will only drop about 40k. That is Definately not worth a trade!

I'd still be very surprised if he playes. In the linked article it states: "Geelong has not ruled him out or in". Thats fancy talk for, 'we want you to think he will be, but he won't'.
For the sake of 1 game though, I have other issues to address. Like Browny and Rance. Both out for way more than 1.

I say let people make crazy short term trades in March & we'll have the conversation in August about how valuable trades are.

That said I hope he plays, just cause I like him.
