Just curious what are people opinions on what you will have to average this year to win the car? Would 2200 be enough?

If you average that you will win the car easily. Remember this year has byes and from Rd 4 onwards you won't be seeing the scores that happened in Rd 1.

i think an average of 2200 will be plaenty

Ah ok. So prob 2150? Sorry this is my first year of attempting dream team. I'm used to supercoach averages

TBH, I think 2100 would win it, especially this year.

maybe less... there are too many byes and too many good players that will be missing from your team week in week out which will restrict your score.

Ziplock

my team is so gun that I don't have any players missing in any byes. That's right kids. Be scared. *shifty eyes* :P

but you get extra bench spots to cover byes and extra trades, so maybe we will have less donuts this year. also, with gc joining the afl with half list of rooks, we have way easier year than normal to make cash and tradeup. mayeb the ave will be higher this year....?

Yes, there may be less donuts, but IMO if you want to be the winner, you wouldn't have had a donut anyway. I know previous winners have had 1 or 2 donuts, but they haven't had to put premiums on the bench before, unless due to injury, thats why the average will come down.

bundyboy

maybe less donuts with more and more mpp players and a couple more trades...but agree, with all the byes some of your guns are definately going to miss thru the year.  especially when we get to the end .

Not sure who has byes near the end of season, but just imagine last year if you had a gun team with lots of cats players.. GAJ, Selwood, Bartell, Pods, Chappie, Enright - and then imagine your score if Cats had a bye...

so this year you are going to forced to spread your team more, and i think byes are really going to keep scoring down molre than we might think come the end..
