Two Cornes and Boak = too much Power?

Chornes, Kornes and Boak all look to be, on their own, good options for DT.

Is it too much to have all three in a side though?  The Power seem to me to be unlikely to be heavy hitters this year, and will perhaps at best scrape into the eight - and probably miss out.  Is trying to land 3 Premiums from a team outside the eight too optimistic?

Personally, especially when starting a team i prefer to have a maximum of 2 players from any given team. Unless i really really really want a particular player, and it would have to be from geelong. This year, so far i only have 2 maximum. Its a rule i've always adopted for my teams though. Just spreading the love. but if i had to drop 1 of those 3, it would be Boak. The other 2 are proven and chad comes cheap. Plus there are other options around boak's price and below...boak may plataeu this year i think.

I had the same situation with my team. Decided the one to go was K Cornes, Boak and Chad are so well priced and there are some other alternatives at similiar price to Kane who will do same job

Yeah i have the same dilemma. Basically, the question is Boak and Kornes in the same midfield? as Chad is a lock IMO. I'm not sure.. i like Kornes too much..

I believe there are better alternatives than Kane Cornes in midfield. His price being the main deterrent. His DT numbers last year were down between 5/10% on his previous two years. Could be on a slight decline. Not having Chad feeding him could also of being a contributor for his drop. I'd keep an eye on Chad too. If used in the forward line as he was in the NAB cup opener against Sydney, I'd stay away from him. Boak is an unknown quantity. Hit or miss there. Not having Salopek there for the majority of the 2nd half of the season meant Boak had to carry more of the work load which entail meant his numbers would have increased. If I had to choose one of them I'd go with Chad based on his tempting price along with the fact he is a proven DT gun. But keep an eye on where they play him. If you wanted to pick another Power player, I'd strongly consider Cassisi. Flies under the radar and is 30K cheaper than Kane.

Carlton did not make the 8 last year, yet players who had Murphy, Stevens and Gibbs in their side prospered.
If you had Bartel, Ablett & Corey, it goes without saying.
What about Richo, Delidio and NG.Brown?
Having 3 players from the same side in your mid, fwd etc does not always have to be a bad thing.

not a doubt that there is 3 very good players there.
- C.Cornes is a lock.
- K .Cornes has awesome consistancy, but there is other options there.
- T. Boak is a gun and should go up another 50 grand and average 90 in my opinion.
