i personally think you should try and include sylvia, prestia heppell and one of gaff and conca...

Upgarading to Heppell, Prestia and Conca will cost me $120,000 which I don't have. I figure the rooks I have will score decently enough to improve their value and fill in when required. Sylvia is a tad injury prone and unproven for me and I would have to sacrifice a midfielder or one of Franklin, Goodes, Riewoldt and Pavlich. I don't think he will outscore any of those players. Thanks for the suggestions though.In response to your team, you seem to be missing some of the rookies you mentioned in your post to me! I would also look at replacing Yarran, Jack (average players imo) and Higgins (good but injury prone, only make you 40-50k before he gets subbed or injured consequently getting a low score and price drop)
