Hi all

Would love considered opinions on the state of my current team. It's far from settled so comments and advice are welcomed. Obviously there are a few bench swaps required for R1 but I think they are covered with the current line up. Going for a hotly contested league win and associated bragging rights.

DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, J. Grimes, N. Suban, D. Astbury, A. Otten, M. Coad (J. Toy, P. Puopolo, N. Duigan)
MID: D. Swan, M. Boyd, L. Montagna, D. Thomas, B. Deledio, D. Swallow (D. Heppell, D. Harris, I. Smith)
RUC: A. Sandilands, D. Jolly (J. Tippett, T. Derickx)
FWD: P. Chapman, L. Franklin, M. Morton, C. Knights, C. Wilson, D. Petrie, R. Gamble (A. Krakouer, T. Mzungu, C. Richardson)
CASH LEFT: $19,500

Cheers

Yeah, I know what you are saying, I have taken some risks but I like to think they are considered and researched risks that should they come off will present with a fair amount of upside.

Chappy worries me with his hammy, I have considered downgrading him and beefing up some positions, particularly in the backline where I think I'm a little exposed, but if he's fit, you can't deny his scoring potential.

Decisions, decisions.  ;)

chappy has a 'groin' injury - downgrade to a sylvia or even ROO? no roo? is that a personal preference? Derickx wont play RD 1 so id get Keeffe from pies in there. Also swap Tippett to Zach Smith that will give u some cash. I would also put Lids into the backline and get rid of either suban or astbury

Thanks. Downgraded chappy to sylvia. Might finish with roo, just not confident of his value. Tippet is there as mpp option to cover a ruck with petrie during byes or injury. Agree astbury might be too risky even tho he does mpp into the forward line with wilson... A small upgrade there could be in order. Will stabalise the back line a bit. Struggle to find a decent mid range back though. Any suggestions?

Lots to consider. Thanks guys.  ::)
