Any Questions for NAB Challenge 1

Hey guys,

Will be making the trip to Geelong to see the Hawks v Roos on Saturday. Since there is no TV coverage of NAB Challenge games, I thought I would see if anyone wanted me to watch out for anything in particular.

Post it here and I will keep an eye on it as best as I can. I will do a write up after the match at some point anyway.

Can you see how Savage goes if he plays?

Also could you compare him to Smith if they both play?

Talk is they are both playing. Will be keeping a very close eye on those two, not just when they get the ball but how they are used. Might be the key to working out what role they see them filling and hence their likelihood of playing.

Be great if u could give us rundown of the team and basic lineup. Puopolo's role, stratts role, whitex role. Ill probs find out anyway if you cant get all the info.

And hawk_88, the mighty Tassie Tigers will have something to say about that. Though it would be kind if you beat NSW first plz.

Not sure why Skilled specifically. The Hawks and Roos played a NAB Challenge game in the Rat last year (half the Hawks got injured, was the start of our ruck woes....) so I guess the AFL has their reasons why it isn't this year.

OK, so the Hawks just posted the team playing on Saturday....

No Savage, Smith, Puopolo, Bailey or any of the cheap Hawthorn fantasy players people are looking at. Very few of those playing played in round 1 so it could just be load management for the season proper.
