2 leagues same team?

I just joined a 2nd league and no matter which league I make a trade in it changes both teams. I want to have 2 different teams with different players but is it actually possible to do this or do both teams have to be the same roster at this stage in the pre-season?

Technically that's against the rules though. If you're lucky enough to be in the running to win the thing, and they find out you have another team, they will disqualify you.

Unlikely, but that's the rub
