what can i change? this is my first year

I'd love some feedback, im not sure how to go about making a team properly. this is the first time ive made one.

Def: Goddard, Macdonald, Kennelly, Firrito, O'Brien, Carlile, Tarrant
(Otten, Puopolo, Duigan)

Mid: Swan, Delidio, Kennedy, Rodan, McVeigh, Lucas
(Swallow, Callinan, Twomey)

Ruck: Sandilands, Cox (Derickx, McNamara)

For: Goodes, Giansericusa, Pavlich, Riewoldt, Betts, Hurley, Knights
(Ablett, Cook, Mzungu)

Hey mate it looks like your pretty new to dt so il give you a few pointers :)
-key is to get the right balance between guns and rookies
-mid pricers are mostly a waste of cash because there is no room for improvement in most cases
-rookies aim to play 10+ games then trade them out and use the cash to upgrade other players into premiums
-reseach the best 10 or so rookies and look to sart 1 or 2 in each position(saves cash and will make you cash)
-look for players coming off an inj in 2010 eg otten and adcock
-good backman rarely make good dteamers coz of there low possession count
-research and look at other teams on here to get the jist and set up

your team:
-scrap most of your backline coz they are full of those players i just taked about....look for running half backs or midfieilders eg gibbs. Start otten. Bench is fine.
-3 premiums 1 midpricers(stanton anthony) and 2 rookies(swallow) seems to be the popular set up
-rucks are fine but maybe get smith from gold coast
-forwards are reasonable but look to start a rookie or 2 and free up some cash to get another premium or 2 in there.

Back- MacDonald, Kennelly, Firrito, O'Brien and Carlile should not be in a dream team, plus Tarrant if it's Chris; if Robbie all good.
Mid- Rodan, McVeigh, Lucas, Twomey all take out.
Ruck- Al good, McNamara might not play, Derickx is a better option.
FOr- Betts, Ablett and Cook take out.

It's a poor team but it is your first.
