You can but you don't want to!  And that mindset is warranted.  He averages 3FA per game and has always had issues with discipline.  I think he's a real smoky for the Brownlow this year, and if Hawthorn use him like I think they will this year (Richo's last 2 years at Richmond) he could destroy teams every week.  He's got the ability to be the best wingman in the AFL, but whether he's got the tank is a query.  Also, if he's used up the ground, will his goals output decrease and if it does, will his increased possession and marks offset that?  He's an enigma, no doubt about it.  It's a real coin flip...If you're a gambler, I'd take him and if you're conservative, probably not.  The issue is that if he starts well, he might be too expensive to bring in, but conversely, if he starts slowly, he's a great bargain premium at rounds 6-7.  Confused yet??
Yes ;)

Yeh well usually i am a gambler but Im a bit fed up with that appraoch although it can work i think im going to take calculated risks more than major ones like i did last year.
simply because i was chasing my own tail from the start with the likes of tippett etc although obviously Buddy is a different story.
Sure he will have a good season ai have now come to the conclusion of including Rioli for this week anyway so maybe no buddy.
Again a clear indication that im over picking Key forwards ;)

Boomer is one ive had the last 2 years...
Age dosnt bother me think he is an exception to the rule.

Doesn't hurt to wait. Pure forwards almost NEVER get more expensive. Actually, apart from chappy, I don't think any kind does.
Awesome point!

Justin Bieber

For some reason, I have the exact same problem!!! After 2009 have never took a second look at him!!

He's a gun but I prefer others for my preference. He may score more but I like taking a little risk in my forwards instead of choosing some common ones last season -_-.

Minzy

The only question in the origanal post was:

'Anyone else have similiar issues with other guns?'

Everything else was a statement

rioli might have time thro midfield but how much ? hawks have heaps of players there, hodgey , mitch, burgs, lewis, sewell, bateman, ladson, shiels
