I reckon the best way to deal with Petrie situation is to sideways trade a fwd bench option to him just before round 5, when Petrie goes up. This way you skip 2 games of him not scoring and also save 50-60k

I'd rather let my fwd bench rookie max out...doubt that they'd be near it after 4 games...sure Petrie's price will go up but so will the bench player you've traded out. Seems a bit of a waste to me. I'll be having Petrie from the outset. Gamble is in my team atm and is likely to stay in too. I have Riewoldt and can wear having 2 saints in my fwds for R4...Gamble will hopefully be long gone by R14.
