D. Swallow keeper??

I know its bloody early, but could maybe look at the kid as a keeper rather than a cash cow
hes gonna make the cash easy but u can also see him pulling big scores and would be a handy reserve as GC are done with their byes by round 10

at the moment I'm only looking at 2 upgrades in my mids (hopefully Ablett and Barlow, once theyve declined in their price and look to have regained their best DT level) and that will take the cashing in of 2 of my mid rookies and upgrading the other 2

i'm with you on this one browny ... think D Swallow could be excellent bench cover in finals time like Scully/Trengove this season just gone - but if my memory serves me i think Trengove wasn't available for a final or two??

Swallow will depend on high possessions to get a good DT score, this was shown on the weekend where in the 1st match he got 14 possessions with a score of 39. Then came the 2nd game and he got 7 touches for a 25. Now i will not deny Swallow is going to be amazing, including this season, though can he consistently get the ball? I will say the answer is no, meaning he will not get a consistent high score, still will be a good score for a rookie, but not as a keeper. I think he would average 75-80, which is not a keepers average. Though you want him as a reserve, which i reckon is a good idea, but i am against for him to be a starter midfielder.

I'm keeping Mzungu and Heppel as my Mid Bench keepers for their MPP. The rest of my mids will be culled. Although it will be hard to cull swallow if he is avg 85+

I am very likely to hang onto either swallow or harris for the entire year to provide solid cover
