Ruck....please read and comment

Hi all,

I am having a mini ruck battle.....
I have currently got Darren Jolly locked and loaded as my first ruck the reasoning is because i want to save the 80 thousand that it costs to use a sandi as your first that way i can maybe use it for another premium somewhare else and you may only loose 20 points a week with jolly
But i am really stuck what to do with my 2nd ruck the options are....
Get a ruck under the price of jolly such as.....
Mark Jamah as he is the only melbourne ruckman
Matthew Luenbager from brisbane as he showed big things last year and started well in the nab cup
Dean Brogan as he is also the only PA ruck and is a unique
Todd Goldstien is young and exciting
Sam Jacobs at a new club and wil take number 1 ruck job
Josh Frasier well who knows what could happen with him

or do you think is is worth using petrie as a second ruck and then using the money that you save with that to use as a $320 forward instead.....ant if so any ideas around that price.....

any comments would be much appriated

If you INSIST on not getting Sandi (hey, some people juggle geese! <-- anyone get that reference?), I'd go with the Petrie option. Perhaps even Tippett.

Scrap your plan get Sandi end of story

Its amazing what you can do with your team when you remove Sandi and Chapman, and use the next in line premium under them... Sandi to Ryder pockets you 50k, Chapman to Franklin or Didak saves you 60-70k...

In total 120k.

Hard to justify spending that money when it could provide more depth elsewhere.

As for your ruck, Petrie will miss round 1 & 3, so you need depth..... Fraser will miss round 1... so you'll need a 4th ruck that will definitely play round 1.

As for pertrie, he has already suffered because of a bad tribunal record... to me that smells trouble, along with injury worries.

I'd pass and look at someone like Seaby around that price, Mummy is still out injured so he could be a cash cow... even though I wont touch him after burning me last year.

Petire out is certainly giving me some headaches. Wonder if Zac Smith 2nd ruck would be a risk worth taking or is Fraser gonna spoil that for me

agree with DT Junkie - Get Sandi & Jolly in the ruck (set for the year)

Put Petrie in the forwardline.

If you need to downgrade in other area's to set your rucks then do it!  ;D
