Any thoughts on this young guy and his game today? He's a school mate of mine and I was wondering what people thought. Personally, I thought he did really well for one quarter on debut!

Game was over, so really hard to judge... and the goal he got was a charity one from Swan.

So... I can't say at the moment. Looked a bit of flash... but with the Pies needing to fit Daisy, Dids, Wellingham, Shaw, Dawes and Toovey back into the side, he may have to wait until 2012.

I agree that it really wasn't enough time to judge him. They will probably pick him next week, the match committee are sensible enough to realise that blooding a player involves more than one quarter or one match. That said he didn't look out of place, moved around ok.

I think getting a couple of games into him is really about firing him up for a big pre season and 2012.

Yeah, my thoughts were that he didn't look out of place which is always a positive. Hopefully he doesn't get dropped straight back out of the side for Daisy.
