wow how did he get selected that far down? on my short list

He was expected to go in the top 10, I believe Essendon were going to take him at #8, but when Heppell, who was expected to go as high as #4 had a groin scare, West Coast overlooked him at #4 and chose Gaff, then Essendon chose Heppell, and Atley somehow made it thru to #17, which is great for Supercoaches because we can pick up Atley for $108k, rather than about $150k if he had been chosen higher.  He is in my team provided he is named for R1, which i think he will be.  Apparently played very well in the intra club game the other night, and a lot at north expect him to do very well this year.
