Interesting reading with the new team analyser available. Not so sure on the projection though, my round 1 projection is 1500 and im obviously looking at doing far far better than that.

What is the best way to work it out? Id like my projection to be closer to 2000 (understanding rookies are involved)

spika

Don't follow that. I got 2384 in dt round 1 last year and fanplanner give me a projection of 1680.

Zarts

look, I've got friends who have projections of like 1900-2000, while mines only sitting on 1700.

basically, it chronically underestimates the rookies, understandably I guess.

Although, apparently it predicts goddard's only going to get over 100 once this year... which just smells of bs to me lol.

popedelio

if you look at your players onfield, assuming you have rookies, they are projected to score 0, so if you Gaff onfield his projection is 0, i have 5 players projected for 0 and i'm projected for 1651.

Shaggers

My projection is 2000 with 3 on-field rooks.

So quite hap with that.

Why is everyone thinking that 2300 will be a par score though..?

Jukes

It is far off. I calculated my round score for round one to be 2144, and I was a bit harsh on many players. My goal is 2250. The anaylser says i'll get 1676 with a min of 1253 and max of 2099. Yeah, right.

I'm happy with I can stay over 2000 over the course of 24 rounds. Hoping to get at least 2100 more often than not but expect 2200 probably the par score if you want a good overall.

Averaging 100 per player on field is probably a good goal to set for the year.
