ok do i have heppell starting in the backline amd hibberd in the midfield on the bench but i wanna replace him with another mid/fwd rookie..but i dunno who..any suggestions?

Hi Craig,

Having 4 C/Bs in your backline is a waste.
You need to juggle you St.Kilda players around.

Have Gilbert as a back instead of Goddard.
Have Goddard as a mid instead of Montagna
Have Riewoldt as a fwd instead Gilbert.

So effectively your swapping Montagna for Riewoldt.

Try I.Smith as a C/F for your mids over Hibberd.

I'd switch Matera or Darling for a B/F so you have the MPP with Gilbert.
McKernan, Talia or Retzlaff are options here.

I really like like your squad, it strong everywhere, but I am not a fan of Franklin and Pavlich both in the fwd line missing R6.

I tend to agree but I can also see the argument against... it all depends on your long term MPP strategy.  My opinion is that there are two many midfield (only) guns and rookies that are must haves, eg. Swan, Ablett, Montagna, Selwood, etc.

Argument for - As long as you have a single "pivot" player for each of C/F and C/B (eg. Callinan and Hibberd) then that should be enough to utilise your MPPs. You would be very unfortunate to have to swap two MPP backs for two MPP midfielders in the same round.

Argument against - If your have MPP players in your midfield reach their ceiling and you want trade them for an upgrade/downgrade target.. that's when it can get tricky!

would have Heppel as your only starting rookie defender and HIbberd as your 3rd midfield benchman. Goddard and Gibbs could also be juggled and Deledio
