Is this team too standard?

Hello friends

First crack for the season... dont worry too much about the rookies as they will obviously change come round 1

Backs: Goddard, Gibbs, Broughton, Adcock, McPharlin, Otten, Heppell (Smedts, Duigan, Puopolo)

Mids: Swan, Hodge, Selwood, Foley, Swallow, Gaff (Polek, Prestia, Harris)

Rucks: Sandilands, Cox (Hale, Bailey)

Forwards: Franklin, N. Reiwoldt, Pavlich, Brown, Knights, Callum Wilson, Petrie (Krakouer, Mzungu, Darling)

Ive over done the MPP slightly with the backs/forwards but think this is obviously the area where it is going to be required the most.

Thoughts on my choices with premiums/cheapies? Also, are my backs too weak?

Backs- Should have another premium, like eg. out Mcpharlin in a premium like Delids or Connors.
Mids- Foley should be either a premium or Shuey. I've gotten advice to put Prestia on the ground (up front) when he's my first reserve. And you have Polec on the bench! Downgrade him to Somebody cheap, you can survive with Prestia benched.

Rucks- Hale should be a rookie like Campbell/Smith. Waste of money on the bench.
Forwards- All good, Darling may not start the season.

Alright team but with a few errors yet still slightly above average- 77/100.

what he means with foley i think is that being an injury risk, save some $$ and go with a cheaper mid (atley,conca etc) as they will prob avg a similar score. if not at least you have spent little $$. you have afew mid price 'risks' in adcock, mcpharlin, petrie, knights etc.

callum wilson is an interesting selection, have seem him on a few teams. Any reason why you have selected him. also look at how many WCE players you have, could be in trouble when they have a bye

only got 4 wce cmgb84... and 5 freo? whats the most you think you should have from any one team...

strong midfield bench was due to the old MPP...im thinking i can afford to have a few midfield and forward rookies that dont play the first round (not including Gold Coast) as i have cover in my backs...

Is Delids critical in the backs this year? Who would you upgrade from: McPharlin, Adcock & Ottens or can I keep all 3?

Was going to get rid of Hale to a FWD RUCK rookie when teams are released. Will be a handy 80 k to use as an upgrade

Also would you play Gibbs in mids or back?

Finally...im keeping Foley no matter what!..would prefer to waste  trade than not have him when he is killing it!

And by the way, Wilson could be an absolute stinker but at 220 hes great back up as WC have gotten rid of all those shower forwards that got games before him all last year
