who are the rookie ruckmen people are getting this year  i have Z.Smith as my 3rd but who should be my 4th??

what does everyones 3rd and 4th rucks look like?

i got lycett as my 4th. from what i am hearing, he prob will only get 4-5 games maybe, so he is not a great choice. but in saying that, there isnt much else. plenty of people are saying max bailey, but i would like to see how many more knee recos he can get before the end of the season.

You can take a punt on your 4th ruck as you will so rarely, if ever need him.

That is why Bailey is such a popular pick. There is certainly a risk in him getting injured again (touch wood he doesn't) but if not he should get quite a few games this year.

Matthew Lobbe is training strongly at Alberton and has served his dues.
Dean Brogan has been appointed ruck role coach at the Power due to the tight budget down there and may have an impact on his season, bringing through Lobbe  ;)

Bailey. It doesn't really matter though, serious trouble if you NEED your 4th ruck ::)

nah i dont NEED a 4th ruck i just want to have the best possible team like everyone else, what about robert campbell?

Well if you don't need him and you don't want Bailey (could make money if he doesn't injure himself) why not just get the cheapest option available? :P

Didn't need a fourth ruckman last year so if I need cash I'll be getting a basement price player, otherwise lycett or bailey will be my 4th.

robert campbell for me. shocking knee history but he's had afl experience and is at 104k

I think Robbie Campbell is definately in Melbourne's plans given that he has played both forward and in defence as well as in the ruck so he is the perfect second ruck with the new sub rule.

However, he has suffered from achilles tendinitis in the pre-season. It doesn't directly affect the knee so hopefully for his sake it all comes good. Watch and see but definitely an option - especially at that price, I never bothered to check his price and was expecting it to be much higher.
