New Supercoach team

New team, fairly similar to the last one, still got $81,300 in the bank. Unsure of whether going for league or overall at the moment, that will depend on whether or not I am doing well first 5 rounds. I have a lack of Essendon and Carlton players due to the byes but if I end up going for overall I will pick up some in the upgrade periods.

Backs:

Lake (WBD), Deledio (RIC), Broughton (FRE), Rawlings (NTH), Gilbert (STK), Otten (ADE), Toy (GCS) - Jacobs (PTA), Hooper (WBD), Brennan (WCE)

Midfielders:

Goddard (STK), Swan (COL), Jack (SYD), Swallow (GCS), Gaff (WCE), Harris (GCS) - Mzungu (FRE), Atley (NTH), Green (BRI)

Sandilands (FRE), Cox (WCE) - Stanley (STK), Smith (GCS)

Forwards:

The people I am unsure of are Broughton (misses a few games), Jack (might go back to a tagging role) and Cloke (If he doesn't improve his goal kicking he will be an average choice). Also, most of the rookies are still undecided. All ratings and advice is appreciated.

If you're going for overall, you should start with Bombers/Blues IMO

Rawlings I love as a player, but think he's getting a bit old.

Cloke is a ballsy pick!

Thats the thing, I am unsure if I am going for overall or not yet, if I am, I will swap rawlings for gibbs and cox for ryder. Cloke if he can kick straight will score a lot of points

Very nice team, i rated it a 9. I like the uniques and how u arent going like most people's standards. U gonna be in the coaches league?
Jacobs is a sick man ATM..
i'm not a fan of starting 3 rookies in the mids; i would upgrade Harris to a unique mid-pricer...
I wouldnt choose Cloke lol. unles u have a gut feeling and your a pies fan i wouldnt get him..

I know Jacobs is sick so I changed him for Heppell, made some changes:

Only $2,600 left though so no room to upgrade Harris but I just have a feeling he could pull a Barlow considering he has experience so I am going to play 3 rookies in the mids as it is such a strong draft.

In terms of Cloke, he is in a good team and his goalkicking couldn't possibly get worse so I am willing to take a risk on him.

thanks mate, the advantage of having lake in there at the moment is that I can buy any other defender if he is still injured. As for Cox, I had actually changed him for Jolly but forgot to change it in the post.

Harris isn't a rookie man...he played at north melbourne for like 9 years and consistently averaged 75-90. He's a safe pick.

That was my thinking behind it, he could be this years Barlow, but probably not to the same degree!

Duigen or Puopolo are better options

i would replace Lake with Goddard and then put someone like Bartel in the mids or around that price.

You already have mpp with the fwds and mids which will provide enough cover for the byes so not sure its imperative to have the Backs with mids aswell
