yorgis

channel 10 news reported otten twisted his ankle at training and he will be fine

Talisman

I assume Hepperd = Hibberd, right?
Is so, then defs Hibberd. Also agree with Toy & Duigan. Heppell too, however, he's in my mids for MPP.

Other rookie backmen to consider:
- Puopolo (ripped it up in Hawks' intra-club match today apparently)
- Hooper (Dogs must have faith in him to blood him in a final! Plus body is definitely AFL-ready - the guy's a tank!!)
- Lower (has played AFL with Port & with all of Freo's injury concerns, could easily crack some games)
- Cripps (1st round pick at a v. nice price - but may find cracking the Saints side tricky, that being said, he does have the legspeed they need)
- Talia
- Faulks (to replace Tarrant at Freo at fullback)

Just some to consider... Cheers!  ;D

roo boys!

I have faith in Ottens to make a full recovery but if not I think Toy and Heppell the best choices.

Ottens will play rd 1 at this stage, so I wouldn't be too concerned. We are still some 7 weeks away from the start of the season...

roo boys!
