Anyone else think dane swans score will suffer abit with the new substitution rule meaning he wont be coming on and off the bench as much meaning less cheap marks and kicks on the wing?

According to Nick Maxwell on SEN (Melb radio) last Friday he expects Dane Swan's role to change slightly this year and may move forward and back at some stages during games.  Having said that, Maxwell also said "we don't expect anything more or anything less from him" (compared to last year).
Maxwell's statement does not concern me too much - Swan did move back a few times last year during games, and racked up heaps of stats.. he didn't just sit in the midfield the whole time.  He will be my captain lock again this year, no hesitation.

in the game against port in choco's final game i remember him moving forward and was still effective. However I think he'll drop a little and will wait till after the woods have had their two byes.

That dosent concern me he still will b a walk up captain

im really not sure what to do with the swan / goddard starting strat. Last year I picked them up for 100K cheaper than starting price...I started slow but ended the year in finals scoring around 2.4K consistantly when others that had him from the start fell away miserably. This strategy has won me a few league trophies in the past. I understand you need them in your team from the start to be in  with a chance at taking 1st prize...waiting for them to drop also burns 2 trades instead of having them at the start...its hard...actually Swan always starts slow...I got some changes to make..I guess thats the fun of SC!

Swans superfit and a midfield goalkicker so if he does rest in the forward line his goal tally should go up and so will his scores :-D, Plus he's tough as nails and rarely gets injured

At your own peril i hope the 50k is worth it :o
