who will pull through more this year?

broughton for me.

enright i reckon has past his peak.

The more common opinion is Broughton and there's a lot of 'Enright can't handle a defensive forward/tagger' going around too.

That was going around last year as well, that and 'He doesn't touch the footy after half time.'
Broughton for me though, on the rise & I think he'll continue to improve this year.

Damn fine question - one I have been asking myself a lot.  Broughton is better age wise (24-27 seems a player's prime) and it is ABSOLUTELY true that Enright struggles with a tag (it was just last season he proved this - probably the first time he's been tagged so heavily too).  I then started thinking that maybe Enright will get some midfield rotation with the change in interchange rules and with Gablett leaving ... but then i remembered that (I've had Enright in my Supercoach the past 3 years) whenever Enright goes to midfield he actually scores WORSE than he does in defence (I've noticed this with Pavlich and Franklin too but this is more understandable as both are tall/ish power forwards who can kick heaps of goals).

In the end i think Broughton has more upside and is of the age where he could be ready to explode score wise (3rd season too - with non-mature age rookies ... which Broughton isn't ... they tend to do much better in 3rd than 2nd year).

But, having said all that, I am selecting Enright in my team ... what can I say - I want players I like in my team (maybe a fatal flaw) and "Enright has been Allright" for me in the past.

Only thing is that Enright is proven year after year.
Broughton is in his 3rd year in a team on the rise, hopefully Freo can keep using him with Duffield, Hill n Mzungu as attacking backs.
