L Tapscott will get the most games out of the 3 - his body is good to go and should handle AFL footy well. He has a thumping kick which will be really handy for us. He's like a Shannon Hurn type but bigger and play forward of the centre. He should play round 1. Blease will need to force is way into the team - possibly from round 7-8 onwards. T McDonald may struggle to get a game as there are a few other taller options on the list ahead of him.

T.McDonald is a certainty not play any more than 3 games.. my bet would be him not to play a single game in 2011, he is a spud.. and there are way better players that make up the 22. Blease and Tapscott will get games in 2011.

It's going to be difficult for any of them to get a start round 1, but there could be one of two of them who do.

So far, the only major injury during pre-season is Frawley, which isn't relevant fantasy wise as Warnock will come in to replace him.

Blease and Tapscott should get games early as they're now 3rd and 2nd year players who should be more physically ready than other draftees.  However, keep an eye on their NAB cup form, Strauss was highly rated this time last year by Dees fans and didn't do anything fantasy wise.

From all reports they are training well though, interestingly, Tappy was in the recovery group at the start of pre-season training though.

McDonald I'm not so sure about.  Simply because a player is training well doesn't mean that he'll play from round one.  Most clubs have at least one draftee who is training well but they don't always play early, sometimes if at all.

Also have a look at Spencer as a ruck option, he's a little more expensive than the rookie options, but could get regular games as our second ruck.  Wait and see if Campbell is promoted from the rookie list (we have to promote someone as we have no mature age players), and if Spencer is named in round one.

It'll also be interesting to see how the new sub rule effects Spencer.  On last year's rules, I would've thought that he'd play, but I'm not so sure now.  He's in his 4th year now, but his first on the senior list and although he's still got a lot to learn, the Dees fans have high hopes for him.

The other ruck to look at is big Max Gawn.  He's the tallest player ever drafted in the national draft and is a booming kick, kicking goals from outside 50 easily.  He missed the first half of last year recovering from a knee reco at junior level and played a few games for Casey before injuring himself again.  An outsider, but if he gets games early as a forward or a ruck, he could be worth a look.  I think games will be the issue though.

blease was looking good on his draft year but sadly broke leg, he recovered and played in reserves for a season and now is pushing for a senior debut

I reckon Blease will start from RND 1 and probably play around 18-20 games

Tapscott i think will be around the same and may debut from RND 1.

I think McDonald will only come in if there is injuries

Tapscott and Blease may debut from round one, but I wouldn't count on it.  The Dees have been fairly conservative with their rookies early in the season despite having plenty of them.

I'm not convinced about 18-20 games for Blease either, although if he has a good NAB Cup and is selected round one, I'll be picking him, as I will with Tapscott.
