Apparenly Gazza will miss out on the NAB cup or most of it with a groin injury.. dosent mean much but we wont get a chance to see how he goes with the youngster and will he come back fully fit in rnd 2  ???

RiOtChEsS

looking like that price tag will plummet...

Chopps

rd 10 upgrade hope for GC he is alright

McRooster

Those looking to upgrade to him around rnd10 will want him to play early so he can depreciate enough to be affordable. No good to anyone as a planned upgrade if he's injured and not depreciating.
Let's hope he plays for the pure thrill of watching the jet in action and for his price to become right  ;)

dylsta05

yeah i hope he goes down heap then i might upgrade to him

round 10 onwards upgrade but watching him prior to for a yes on no

@Mcrooster.......you want him depreciated?!?!? So thus out of form or injured?!?!?

I understand that you want to get him cheaper but obviously your not very good at FanFooty coz if you cant pick up a guy whos gone up or held his value give up now! And the only way Gaz will depreciate is if he is injured because he is the best player in the comp and performs no matter what even with injury sometimes.

If it wern't for the 2 byes early I would have Gaz round 1 with no question. And if I dont pick him early Ill get him especially if he has gone up in price and I hope he does go up because most people wont be able to afford him so then its to my advantage.

Seriously everyone stop getting caught in in prices! If you havethe right starting team and upgrade properly it wont be a problem like it wasnt for me last season thus why I finished top 1000 in both comps.

so what ur saying is that u want him to be in form and expensive, when if his out of form he has the two byes so he will go away and get in form so he is good value. Thats just stupid the most important thing is a cheap premium, so he has to be out of form and he will depreciate so his cheaper, saving us a trade.

still will cost you a trade but only the one where as if he maintains his form or improves then will maybe cost you 2 trades to get him in, & as per another posting elsewhere maybe that is where you keep some cash in the kitty. IMO

Whoops yeah i meant most will use two trades if his price is high to get him in.

You finished top 1000  8) - What was your team name?
Someonone who finished top 1000 would understand that the above bolded statement is not correct ^^^^  :P
A player who is injured doesn't always play, a player who doesn't play doesn't depreciate - he holds the status quo  ;)
Of course I want him to depreciate so I can fit other jets into my line-up now and hit the season ground running ( as GAJ doesn't play first up or in rnd 9) and then maybe slot him in when the timing is right. Anyone who thinks he will score at the same level he scored at the Cats is dis-illusioned and lost in the fact that nostalgia is the narcotic for the masses.
Custard I hope I am wrong for the simple fact that I love watching him play but I can't see his impact being as dominant without the blocking structured tactics that the the team of Cats around him had in place.
A little harsh to hint that I might not know a thing about FanFooty Mr Bootsudder but I would say that I enjoy listening to all sides of a story before deciding I'm right  ;)

Dont see the problem. He was the perfect upgrade target for round 10, still should be. I cant think of too many teams posted on here that have him, so most of us must be thinking the same thing. Any injury cloud is only more likely to make us sit off him and see how he goes.

Chopps

+1 mcrooster well said, love watching the little master play but no way he will keep up those scores, look at the guns at the cats who were there to help him compared to the young guns coming through at GC,

MTTY

Heard about this would be good i geuss as his price would probably drop and then he would be a great upgrade target after RND 9
