With the reduced time in the NAB Cup this year its got me wondering how we r going to rate scores for players as they will be considerably lower than that of of a standard game...

As I said in the other thread you made Marcz.
40=100
50=120
60=130
70=150

I'd actually wait until the games are played. Then see what the average scores are across all the games. This way, we can see which players performed better and those who under performed, compared to everybody else in the new format.

Right now, it's hard to judge what a good score is never having seen it in action before. For all we know, some players who handball and run with the ball (fast paced) maybe actually rack up quite alot of possessions as they get the game flowing.

True HP.
It is hard to really estimate with no prior knowledge of the event. The scores may be smaller or larger than my estimates. My estimates are a good start for now.

i was thinking, maybe work out average game time last season, divide it by the game time they get and then times their score by that answer  ???
anyway i think it will be thrown out the window.

If you add up the two games scores together it would give you 80 minutes. Thats pretty close. Seeing as SC scores are rounded to 3,300 points, they might do it for us. ;)

that's pretty much spot on..

i would say that maybe just half..

but you can never be perfect..

but B21 that is spot on!

bomberboy0618

It sounds right, but why isnt going up by the same rate?

HillHero13

because the NAB Cup is 20 minute halves.. completely different..

soo they won't be scoring as high...

Knowall

we will see what the points allocation is lets say its 1100 which is a third of the normal 3300.  Itd be fair to suggest what normally is a 120 will equate to 40 in the NAB cup
