Gday, i've put my 2 bob in to other teams so i'll throw my current lineup out there for ppl to tare apart. - i've got a few teams but the others are more specific strategies, this one is what i tinker with the most.
4 starters i aint starting big sandi - too pricey and i think his TOG will decrease as he burnt out in last half of season. def an upgrade tho.
so please drill me it only helps!

BACKS - GOD (c), Hodge(or gibbs), Deledio, Broughton, Drummond, Otten, Cam Richardson     
=> emg - coad, toy mzunga  ( :o 3 GC!!!!)

MIDS - Judd, Pendles, A. Swallow, Jack, D.Swallow, Gaff

=> emg - bewick, krakouer, weller

RUCK - Cox,  Petrie
=> emg - smith, bailey

FORWARDS - Chappy, Roo, Pav, Rioli, , Knights, Prestia, smith
=> emg - butcher, darling, tapscott

haven't had two thoughts about mpp, besides ruck, if i find good mpp rookies then i'm on them, i pick who i want we have 3 benchies that should suffice IMO

BACKS: Definitely Hodge over Gibbs IMO... Not a big fan of having both Broughton AND Hurn, mayb put Gilbee, Milburn or Gilbert in there instead if available... Not a good idea at all to have your bench filled with GCU like that: Try Jacobs, Heppel, Watson, Guthrie, Puopolo or Mzungu in there, just to reduce that GCU stock...
MIDS: Hard to judge A Swallow, Jack and Bartel rite now because not sure if they will kick off big at the start of the season IMO; Try fit in Judd, Selwood or Montags for one of them if you can, and u may considering downgrading one of them to a mid-pricer such as Foley or Anthony... Don't know much about Bewick and Weller, try Wallis, Hallahan, Conca or Atley?
RUCKS: Not having Sandi is not too great, but i see your point. You don't wanna trade much in your rucks, and there is room for trouble in your starter rucks, so if u can try and fit in Jolly, Jamar, Cox, Kreuzer or Mumford... Don't know much about Bailey, try Mcdonald from your forwards?
FORWARDS: Not a big fan of Chappy myself, but if he fits your structure then ok... Not a big fan of Petterd, maybe downgrade to a rookie such as I Smith, Cook or T Lynch? And we're all not that sure on N,Ablett, try Lamb or Butcher; then Tapscott for Mcdonald if he was moved to your rucks...

Your Backs are strong, maybe swap hurn for kelly, and swap some of your GC rooks for benny jacobs or dyson heppell.

Quite unique mids, IMO i dont think jimmy will be as good as last year, because ablett took lots of attention from the opposition, but it may just go to selwood so could pay off.  i think you should get tags in for jack.

i think ryder is a waste to start with because you will want to trade him out because he will miss GF.
i rekon you should have a lock and lleave combo with rucks, e.g. sandi and jolly. IMO

quite strong fowards, i think you should downgrade petterd to issac smith and that would free up enough money for the other suggested moves that i said.

@ luigi â€" sold on hurn, is underpriced and SC specialist. Had a poor year but so did the eagles. Dasher and gilbee are way too old to be in my starting lineup so a big no! gilbert is a maybe, need to see how lucrative his potential new role in the forward line will be. But already have GOD on that line.
Don’t you like broughton mate?? Wins his own ball bit of a fan personally, but hey we all have our opinions on here!
Yea i’m fairly sure I’ll be starting prem mids who are around the 500k mark. Its just the way I want to go about it, 559k for pendles is prob too much really.you spend around the 600k mark and what if they only average 100 â€" 105 for the 1st 7 weeks?? U lose the cash that I could of used on a guy 80k cheaper averaging just about the same. And this is when (rd 7-10) when we start culling and upgrading, every dollar counts. Vice versa someone like judd is solid tho.   Jack is a fair call not sold, but besides goodes I won’t be having any other swans, that’s why I like him as a starter. Similar scenario with a. swallow, aren’t any other north prems I’ll be having so I find them appealing. Ah bewick is at the lions, every chance for a game esp how they have lost a lot of cattle in rishcatelli, brennen, black and power are old. They cut some other fringe type of players so potential spots are up for grabs there. Weller looks the goods â€" GC player. Must admit if conca gets a gig I think I’ll run him, but with rookies we can’t really decide just yet and be sure so I’m not too phased atm. With sandi, he’s having pre season surgery, the dockers got that ruckmen from the crows. They’ll play him and sandi won’t get the 90 odd % game time he was doing this season, esp how the foot plantiatus crippled him late in season. So I feel @ 576k he is overpriced. And I want swan and didak, already have pendles so it’s a no for jolly as too many magpies. Ryder mostly because I don’t have a bomber, I don’t care about the bye in round 24, I’d rather score better in overall than win a league anyway m8. and kreuzer is a no no, too risky coming off a knee reco fairly sure he isn’t in full training. M8 petterd was a late inclusion, if one of those forward cheapies come good then I reckon swapping petterd is a good way to free up some cash â€" I reckon I’ll do that m8. although I’ll already be going one rookie starting in the forward line, hmmm

Who is issac smith anyway?? Don’t know much about him but seeing his name appear. So mophead I’ll swap petterd for smith atm. And mate I’ll find your team and rate!

backs- not sold on hurn, was very poor this year and 427k is not cheap, go with drummond IMO.  trade one of your GC rookies to mzungu, i would trade iles. -1.

mids- Not happy with bartel, I would get somebody like boyd instead. -0.5.

rucks- i know you made a reason, but you've gotta have sandi, ryder too inconsistent. -1.

forwards- only issue is petterd.  due to your structure you need a cheapie or rookie.  i would get big isaac smith for him and gain a bit of cash, in doing so i would trade bartel for swannie. -0.5.

Overall, solid team 7/10

Torress  :) looks great mate.
love every1 in the backs. is well evened out 2.
Mids are great lots of value. if pendles, a.swallow and jack dont improve id be very surprised.
Forwards are fantastic. Izaac smith and prestia should be great rookies.
Dont start Cox! swap him to jolly or ryder if you dont want sandi.
